Glauca Compacta Eastern Redcedar – An absolutely gorgeous blue conifer cultivar that is sure to be a stand-out piece in your landscape! Growing only to 4-5 feet in height with a spread of 3-4 feet, this dense evergreen is perfect for short privacy screens, topiaries, or general ornamental landscaping. You can see a great example of this plant in the ground near our front office! When left unpruned, the long branches will get slightly leggy, so if you prefer a dense and manicured look, we recommend pruning it back in winter. The bark peels off in long strips and is another attractive feature for this shrub. Plant in full sun and in well-draining soil. This plant is reasonably drought tolerant but will benefit from some additional watering during summer.
