Dwarf Flowering Almond – A small flowering shrub native to China and Korea. Growing only up to about 2 feet tall, the Dwarf Flowering Almond is a whimsical and petite addition to any small yard! For much of the year, the thin, upward reaching branches are covered in small medium green foliage, which falls in early winter. In early spring, the bare branches become covered in dense double-blooming pink-white flowers. These lightly fragrant blooms cling tightly to the branches for about two weeks before falling away and allowing the new growth to take over. Plant in full or part sun and in well-draining soil. Irrigate regularly, especially in summer.
