Aesculus pavia var. flavescens (Texas Yellow Buckeye)

This is an unusual variety of the common east TX red buckeye, but with yellow flowers. It is only found in the southern hill country of central Texas on limestone soils, but is adaptable to more acidic conditions. A few available from wild collected seed from Uvalde County.
