About the Foundation
The John Fairey Garden is owned and operated by The John Fairey Garden Conservation Foundation, the assumed name of Peckerwood Garden Conservation Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 76-0567365). Our mission is to preserve, share, and advance the horticultural and artistic legacy of John Fairey.
The garden is open to the public for tours and events, and we share plant material and horticultural knowledge with other botanical institutions, researchers and gardeners.
We are funded by memberships, individual donations, grants, and earned income from tours, events and our nursery. All of it goes back into caring for the living collection, our conservation work and public education.
Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
