Agave parryi

Parry’s Agave – A beautiful small agave that grows to be about 3 feet tall at maturity. The seeds of this plant were collected by our Director of Horticulture and Living Collections, Wally Wilkins, along a roadside in Greenlee County, Arizona in 2024. As it matures, Agave parryi forms a somewhat dense rosette of blue/silver toned leaves, each with attractive black tips and margins. Plant in full sun and well-draining, rocky soil. This is an extremely drought tolerant desert plant, so keep it dry! A little bit of supplemental water in late summer is helpful, but other than that, let Mother Nature do the work while you sit back and enjoy!
