White Mistflower – A wonderful woody perennial native to Texas, and an absolute must-have for pollinator gardens! The White Mistflower grows to be a dense, rounded shrub, between 3-6 feet tall depending on the planting conditions. The foliage is a nice dark green, which makes a wonderful backdrop against the pure white mistflowers that emerge in late spring. These clustered blooms appear densely across the plants canopy, and are an essential source of nectar for butterflies and moths! In order to get the best flower show each year, we recommend cutting the plant back to the base in late winter. Plant in full or part sun, and in well-draining soil. Although it is reliably drought tolerant, it performs best when it is irrigated regularly, especially in late summer.
