Japanese Quince – A stunning white-blooming form of the traditional Japanese Quince. Only growing to be about 2-3 feet tall, this deciduous shrub is perfect for smaller yards or those with limited planting space. In mid spring, bright white blooms emerge on the bare branches and are lightly fragrant. We've noticed that the large black carpenter bees seem to especially enjoy these open flowers, but many other pollinators are also frequent visitors. Plant in full or part sun and in well-draining soil. While it can tolerant some short stints of drought, this Japanese Quince prefers regular irrigation, especially in the summer.
