Sacred Fig – A beautiful houseplant/patio plant with large heart-shaped leaves that flutter nicely in the breeze. Sacred Fig is native to India and has religious significance to many cultures there. In Texas, it is not cold hardy and therefore needs to be moved indoors during the winter months. To keep this plant happy, place it in an area that gets bright, indirect light inside, or part shade outdoors. It does not need to be watered super regularly, but would appreciate a deep drink after the first two inches of soil become dry.
