Lippia alba

Bushy Lippia – A gorgeous Texas and Florida native shrub that is difficult to find in commercial horticulture. At maturity, this perennial can grow up to 10 feet, with multiple thin branches growing wildly upright. The foliage is small, bright green, and clings tightly to the slender branches. Beginning in mid spring and persisting through mid fall, small lantana-like flowers emerge in clusters along the branches in hues of pink to light purple. These blooms are lightly fragrant with a delicate floral aroma. Bushy Lippia natively grows in marshlands and along streams in Florida and Texas, making it suitable for clay soils or areas of your yard that can't stay dry. Plant in part shade and protect from afternoon sun.
