Spiraea prunifolia

Bridal Wreath – A gorgeous winter bloomer native to China and Taiwan. Growing up to 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide in our climate, this is an ideal plant for small yards and those with limited planting space. For most of the year, the delicate and airy foliage clings to sweeping branches, forming a wispy shrub. However, in late winter, small white flowers cover the lengths of each branch, transforming the plant into a snow-covered showstopper. This is the perfect plant for anyone looking to add winter color to their garden! If left unpruned, the branches can become somewhat leggy, so we recommend lightly pruning it back after the flowers have fallen, usually in early spring. Plant in full sun and in well-draining soil. Water regularly, especially in the hot summer months, in order to keep it happy and green!
