Variegated Spiraea – A unique variegated shrub that handles our Texas heat like a champ! In mid spring, delicate white flowers adorn the willowy branches, adding a striking pop of color to the landscape. During the rest of the year, the lightly variegated foliage adds intrigue when planted amongst darker plants. At maturity, this Variegated Spiraea grows to be a dense shrub standing at about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Ours is planted in full sun at the Garden, but produces more variegation when planted in part shade. Make sure to keep watered during the summer!
