Edwards Plateau Hoarypea – A Texas native groundcover that was originally collected by John Fairey in Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1999. The foliage is circular and blue-toned, growing along trailing stems that form a dense mat over time. In late spring, light pink pea-flowers emerge and bloom repeatedly throughout the summer. As it ages, the roots become thick and woody, allowing the plant extreme cold hardiness and drought tolerance. Plant in full sun and in well-draining soil.
