Skeleton-Leaf Goldeneye – A reliable Texas native that is sure to bring vibrancy and color to your garden all summer long! This drought tolerant shrub naturally grows in the dry, rocky soils of southwest Texas and into the deserts of New Mexico, making it the perfect addition for xeric landscapes. From early summer through late fall, small daisy-like yellow flowers emerge all over the tops of the rounded canopy, lighting up the dark green foliage and providing nectar to many of our native pollinators. At maturity, this tangled mass reaches 2-4 feet in height. Plant in full sun and in well-draining, rocky soil. It is drought tolerant once established, but will need some supplemental watering for its first few months in the ground.
